The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This is the 14 ft tall statue of Vince Lombardi at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin. Not living in Wisconsin and not even being a Packer fan until Donald Driver was on Dancing with the Stars I can't claim to have a deep feeling for the stadium and its lore. However, I really liked the view of this statue from the back, waiting, thinking, planning, hoping. Just like sports fans everywhere! Vince Lombardi is one of the most recognizable figures in sports history. His name graces the Super Bowl trophy. He in known for many of his quotes. Here are one that I learned when I was taking my course to become a scuba instructor: "Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect". I didn't know at the time it was a Vince Lombardi quote, but I remember the quote 37 years after I first heart it! And everybody has surely heard "Winning isn't everything, its the only thing"!
